Do I need an account to use SI or Not?
No. Your first 3 checks (image, text, video or music) need no account. After that, a free account gives you 10 credits and 50 text checks every month, with no credit card. The example images and texts on the detectors are always free.
How do credits work?
An image or music check uses 1 credit and a video check uses 5 credits, because a video is analysed frame by frame. Text checks never use credits: the free plan includes 50 text checks a month and they are unlimited on Pro and Max.
When do my monthly credits reset?
Every month on the day you signed up, or the day you started a paid plan (UTC). Upgrading starts a fresh cycle with the full allowance. Unused monthly credits do not carry over; pack credits never expire.
What are credit packs?
Packs add credits without a subscription: 100 credits for £3.50 or 500 credits for £13. Pack credits never expire and are only used once your monthly credits for the month are gone. They work with every plan, including Free.
What is the difference between Pro and Max?
Pro gives you 250 credits a month, unlimited text checks and a 30-day history of your analyses. Max gives you 1,500 credits a month, everything in Pro, priority for video analyses and API access when it launches.
How much do I save with yearly billing?
Two months. Pro costs £4 a month or £40 a year, and Max costs £16 a month or £160 a year. Credits are given every month in both cases.
How do I pay and cancel?
Payments are handled by Stripe: we never see or store your card number. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it from your account page (Manage subscription); the cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for. Credit packs are a one-time payment.
Which currency will I pay in?
Prices are shown in US dollars, euros or pounds sterling depending on where you are, and you can switch with the currency selector above the plans. Once you have a subscription, your account stays in the same currency.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No credit card is asked at sign-up and the free plan has no time limit. You can delete your account at any time from your account page.
Subscription and payment terms
- Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Renewal. Pro and Max renew automatically every month or every year, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Your credits are given every month on your subscription date.
- Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account page (Manage subscription). The cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid: you keep your plan until then and you are not charged again.
- Changing plan. Switching between Pro and Max, or between monthly and yearly billing, is done from the same page. Stripe works out any difference for the rest of the current period.
- Credit packs. A one-time payment. Pack credits never expire and stay on your account if you cancel a subscription; they are lost if you delete your account.
- Refunds. Periods already paid and credits already used are not refunded pro rata, except where the law requires it. Your plan or credits are available immediately after payment: at checkout you agree to this immediate access and acknowledge that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once access starts (details in the Terms).
